From dodging pickleball to high school reunions at funerals to shouting out to our oldest(?) fan, (Hey Sandra C!), this week is all about Barbra Streisand (that's Strei-SAND!) - a topic inspired by our Celine Dion episode 2 weeks back. But Celine isn't the only Canadian that Babs has dueted with, so listen in as we recount which memories light the corners of our mind of our love for Babs--the only artist to hit the Billboard chart in 6 consecutive decades. Wow, she truly is Evergreen!

In this episode it's Mike who gets his rant on while Priya takes it all in. Why? Well, Taylor released her Encore and the inter web HAS FEELINGS! Should we rename our podcast “Banter & Bullshit”? And do we even know the difference between them? Ahhh but we digress. This week it’s about our very own, Canadian comeback queen Celine Dion! Her last public performance prior to her devastating diagnosis was in 2020 but she is BACK BABY and we are here for it! We sing, we thump our chests and we celebrate her over-the-top performance style because there is only one Celine.

Mike and Priya are at it again talking karaoke tales but this time they’re joined by Caitlyn, a self professed karaoke lover. They talk about their first karaoke experiences and a whole bunch of your expected banter and bullsh*t.

It's been a whirlwind month for our beleaguered and battered hosts and this episode is basically an eruption of allll that's been happening and continues to happen, how it's kept them apart like two ships passing in the night, and how music has (in Priya's case) or hasn't (in Mike's case) been helping them cope. As the saying goes: 'this too shall pass' so let's see if Mike and Priya are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel...not THAT tunnel folks. They old but they not THAT old!
